Hi all,

I have a gift certificate to this site and need to buy a router. I was thinking about getting the Linksys WRT54G but I hear reports of earlier ones being good and the later ones not so. I won't be able to check the serial number before buying and I'd rather avoid returns.

In any case, the site is www.futureshop.ca (Canadian). I know the prices are a bit high, I wouldn't be shopping there if I didn't have the gift cert.

Anyways, which one would you get (I'll actually be getting two of the same probably, one to connect my old iMac DVSE intstead of buying an Airport Card, and the other will be the main internet router for the house.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Since you want to use one as a bridge for your iMac DVSE, you should be aware that not all wireless access points can act as bridges.
