I have a Belkin Router/Modem to share my adsl around my house- On my powerbook (802.11g) my main user account randomly disconnects/stalls... :/ HOWEVER, I created a new user and it connects and uses the wifi network perfectly.
All the other windows/mac computers on my network work fine.
ANy idea what could cause this? its incredibley annoying.
we don't have time to stop for gas

Your primary account's network location is corrupted. Delete it and start over. That should be all it takes-you did the hard part and troubleshot the problem yourself!
