I have an iBook G3 Running OSX. I have an Email Application called Mail , Version 2.0(727/728). It will except mail from my server usadatanet.net but I cannot send. It gives me a wrong port # message. I have emailed my server. Their telephone support stinks. They have been no help. Can you advise? On my Imac G3 running OS9 I have Netscape and the port is 110. and running fine. Beth

"accept", not "except".

Well it sounds like you already know what the problem is—wrong port number. You say that in Netscape in OS 9 with port 110 it works? Have you tried the same settings in Mail? 25 is the common outgoing server port but your ISP may be blocking that. You'll have to get the right one from your ISP or from your email provider, if different from your ISP.
