I have an Epson CX6400 that prints, scans, etc. I'm thinking about getting an AirPort Express and hooking the CX6400 up via USB so my WinXP laptop can print via Bonjour. Will I lose all the multifunction capability if I go this route? I'm assuming if I don't have the CX6400 connected directly via USB to my desktop Mac, that might be the case. I'm hoping someone has tried this and can share experiences here.

Multifunctions and all-in-ones don't play well on networks. Unless Epson specifically supports all the functions over a network through their driver, you'll most likely lose everything but printing. In fact, most USB printers don't even provide feedback like ink levels and paper-out warnings over a network.

Sorry, but that's how it seems to be.
