[Back up 15 and punt]

I have recently purchased a Asante 65120-12g gigabit switch. This switch requires GBIC's. I was wondering what GBIC's will work with this switch? Does anybody know?

I seriously doubt that Asante will tell me whose GBIC will work in their switches. After all their in business to sell you something.

Maybe they could tell you if there was a universal standard that their products follow, I really don't know that much about GBIC's, but I imagine their must be a standard to which most manufacturers follw for interoperability.
