I have a wireless conection on my macbook but i want to know the steps i have to take so i can secure my connection. What do i do?

You start by telling us what hardware you have other than your MacBook. The wireless access point and/or router are critical pieces of the puzzle.

With that said, it's often as simple as coming up with a good passphrase, making a few configuration selections in your wireless access point/router, and clicking a big "OK" button.
