Does anyone have any experience w/ this product?

I want to know if it will be able to do two things(not simultaniously)

1) If I plug this into the ethernet jack of my comp will I then be able to connect to a wireless network? (does the other router also have to be D-Link?)

-I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but I'm just checking

2) If I plug it into a router it will be able to create a wireless network?

-Once again, I'm pretty sure the answer is yes

Now what if I plug this into a wireless router and I give both this device and the router the same SSID will a computer seemlessly switch between the two based on the stronger signal?

Also does anyone know of a cheaper alternative w/ an external antennae that will do what I stated above.

Thanks!

Oh ya, how do you think the range will be? (ignoring the same SSID thing w/ another wireless router)

I'm not quite following what you're trying to accomplish. If all you want is a wireless device that you can plug your computer in via ethernet, and still have a wireless connection for your other computers, then I suggest something a bit simpler....DI-524
I gotta have more cowbell.

I want to know if the device is cabable of doing #1 &2 seperately, both 1&2 will not occur at once, look at them as 2 seperate questions/instances
