ARRAAFAHGAGAH!

when I try to uninstall a number of different applications, I get the follwing error:

It reads: "Error 1606: could not access network location \\Winprohome\Dan Growing\Dano's My Documents from Toshiba Laptop\."

I did "port" some data from this computer to that folder some time ago - and I haven't been using this computer. But now the Toshiba is back up, but I can't uninstall (and in some cases, cannot INstall) programs. It's a real issue because that computer (\\Winprohome) is no longer alive...

Thoughts?
