Does anyone here know of an applescript (or thelike) that notifies clients when a document has been added in a folder on a server? It should work like a folderaction, but unlike the F.A “new item alert” – first send an alert (iChat would be kicker, email would do) when the upload has been completed. As it is now, the FA “new item alert” gets sent even before the file has been fully uploaded. Since OSX, for some strange reason, doesn’t have a way to ghost an icon that isn’t complete – this feature is pretty crucial.
