I have two wireless routers, one upstairs and one downstairs. They're from different manufacturers - an older 802.11b NetGear and a newer D-Link. I'd like to have the NetGear be a wireless bridge for wired devices upstairs. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Most likely they won't work together the way you want. For some reason, most manufacturers' equipment, (when it's capable of bridging at all) will ONLY work with the same brand devices. Further, you'd be dissappointed with the performance of the 802.11b device as a bridge because you're used to much faster wireless. Check out D-Link's site to see what sorts of bridges they offer.
