I just bought Apple Remote Desktop 3 in order to manually control my Parent's Macs back in Chicago. I live in Los Angeles.

Let's just say the price of the software has been overshadowed by their weekly calls for free tech support --

Example... "Okay Mom, go to the Menu... The menu. No, that's the Dock... The Dock. You're at the bottom of the screen. The Menu is at the top. It's the white strip with the black let-- Dad...? Dad, let me talk. No, because that's the browser menu. You're not helping."

So anyway, I need to know the basic steps of how to configure their Linksys router to grant me access over the internet. It's one of those new ones that acts as a phone line as well as a router.

Does anyone know the basic steps on how to do this? And I do mean basic, considering I'll be talking them through it over the phone.

A sincere "thank you" in advance.
