Hi, I've been encountering a problem only recently, before then everything was a ok!

Here's my problem.

I have a white airport Express that is plugged in my phone line and have 2 laptops with Windows XP OS. I use linksys Wireless notebook adaptors to connect wirelessly to the base station an Airport modem utility to connect to the internet. Everything was working well in my little paradise until one day... I can still connect to the network, dial up the internet but somehow can't access the internet. My connection strenght is as strong, that's not the problem. I checked on my modem utility and where the connection time is I can see that there is a prob. I will keep up time and then freeze, then continue ei :02, 03 (nothing) 09.

I haven't changed any settings. Any advice?

Thanks in advance...

Valerie

Unplug the AirPort Express and let it sit for a couple of minutes (time at least two minutes), then plug it back in. Sometimes all it takes is a reboot of the AirPort device and you're there...

If that doesn't give you a huge change, come back and we'll work on it some more.

Thanks for the welcome and the help.

I did unplug the sucker for a few minutes and my connection is better. I still freezes for about 3 seconds every 8-9 seconds. Wonder if it's looking for something. At least now I can use Firefox and surf. MSN is a drag because I don't get IM's send during that lagging time.

I saw online that there is an upgrade of airport modem utility? Is that the only program I can use to connect?

Thanks again.
