WPA password protection problem

	An iBook G3 running 10.3.9. Trying to connect to a D-Link wireless router with WPA personal encryption. Enter the password as requested but get error message. On another iBook G3, slightly later model, running same software, no problem. Have updated Airport software to latest version without success. Apple Tech support won't touch the problem because of the D-Link. D-Link tech support won't touch it, saying it's a Mac problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. John.
