I think my old linksys WAG54G is on its last legs at the moment, keeps crashing and losing the ADSL conneciton, and I was thinking of replacing it with a Draft-N router. However for my 2 Macs, an iBook G4 12" and a Mac Mini Core Duo, I need a Draft-N card. Since Apple don't make a draft n Airport card I need a USB 2.0 one, unless there is some alternative.
So, does anyone know of an 802.11n draft USB card that will work with Panther and Tiger?

Why draft N? The draft is NOT going to be "the standard," and every review of draft N equipment I've read says that it underperforms both Pre N and G equipment. Disappointing.
Go with a NEW G product that you won't need a non Apple card to work with-it's guaranteed to work properly and STAY working when the N standard is actually finalized (which may not be until well after the supposed date in "early 2007." You'll save money too.
And actually I don't know of any Pre- or draft N equipment that supports OS X, though I haven't spent a lot of time looking.

Pre-N, draft N, aren't they basically the same thing?
But maybe I'll get a pre-n router which is backwards compatible, I've heard that using it with a normal wireless-G card will still boost the range, which is what I need really.

Actually there's a big difference between Pre- and Draft. The only common thing between them is that they use a technology called "multi-in, multi-out," which increases speed by using multiple radio frequencies at the same time.
If you MUST get anything that says "N" today, definitely get one that fully supports the G standard. Anything that says it's "N" before the standard is finailzed is based on a guess, and not necessarily a good guess. Odds are that ALL "Pre N" and "Draft N" products will be compeletely incompatible with the finalized standard-they will be orphaned as soon as the first "Actual N" product hits the shelves.
And remember that AirPort products (you already have these in your computers) only support actual standards-that means 802.11b and 802.11g. Why pay for something your current hardware can't work with?
