I was connecting through my home netwrok through the built in airport on my macbook pro and this has been fine for the last month. Today some settings on the router (router IP) was changed but then changed back. The other computers (both windows) have their connections working ok. Although my computer detects the network it won't connect to the internet. I've tried with an ethernet cable too and again it assigns me a valid IP address and shows the correct router IP but it won't connect to the internet. Been tearing my hair out over this one so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Just to add that i've just done the DNS test by putting the apple.com IP into my browser and the text from the page loaded up. I tried to manually input the DNS into the netwrok settings but still no joy, please help.
