I am currently using an older G4 w/o a wireless card built-in. I was just wondering what can i do to make it work with a wireless home network?
Can i only use an airport card or are there any other cards i can use and also where can i purchase them?
Thanks from a apple noob

Why do you want to use a different card? The Airport card should work fine.

AirPort Extreme cards for the G4 iBook (at least the "early 2004" model and later) are available from Apple-and not expensive, either at $49. And even better, it's GUARANTEED to work with your Mac, as opposed to most third party wireless devices that may or may not have Mac drivers.

My wife's came in in January 04 and it works with hers... Yes, I'm pretty well certain it will work with your iBook.
