i have a macbook, and it love its built it wireless, but now there is a wireless card from verison that lets you get wireless where ever their cell phones get service. I am dissapointed with the lack of ports on the mackbook and see why there is no card slot, since it built in. IS there any kind of wireless card to usb or firewire adapter?

The built-in wireless (802.11a/b/g) and the Verizon wireless (CDMA) are totally different.
I think one of the major cellular providers (it could be Verizon, T-mobile, Cingular, etc; I forget) has a USB cellular modem that would allow you to get on the internet anywhere you have a cell phone signal.

all right thanks, this is kinda off the subject but do you have to have a wireless subscribtion to the company or can you just by the card and use it?

Yes you do. It's usually provided when you sign up for service. Sometimes they offer deals on the equipment-like rebates that make it very inexpensive or even free-but you usually have to commit to a long term service contract.
