Hello all,

I'm recently the proud owner of a new MacBook and I'm trying to get it all set up for wireless. For everyones information I'm using a belkin wireless g router, that's set up with my comcast high speed modem. I also have a OLD pc hard wired into the back of the router. I've gone throught the set-up and the hard wired conenciton works great. I've been able to get my mac onto others wireless networks around town but for some reason it won't log onto my home wireless network. When I enter my password I get an error saying there is a problem connecting to the conneciton. I've tried this all over my house (even sitting right next to it) and can't seem to get it. Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

This may not help much, but the other day a friend of mine had a similar problem and this solved it: check you have the latest AirPort update (for your machine, not for the router obviously).

You have to make sure to use the same encryption and key length.

Which ones do you use on your router?

I'm using 128bit WEP.
