Hi all,

I've been playing around with networking my G5 (hardwired to router) and my Powerbook G4 (using cardbus airport card). Seems to work okay except for two things:

1. The laptop says "No response from the server" even though the G5 is on, connected to the network, and is able to mount the laptop hard drive on its desktop, any ideas?

2. Is it possible to do away with the router and share the broadband connection to the laptop with Internet Sharing? Does it work as well as a router does? Or am I interpreting this wrong?

Thanks,
Tom
