I finally have disk quotas set up and working properly using webmin (www.webmin.com)!

But the problem is:

The network is mixed, and for Windows users they are mounting their home directory folder (stored on an iSCSI box connected via GigE to the XServe) using samba.

The disk quotas doesn't not apply to them.

Is there any way to make disk quotas work via SMB also?

If the iSCSI box is mounted on the xServe as a volume, why not use Workgroup Manager? There you can setup disk quotas for all supported protocols, including SMB.

I tried setting it through the WGM but it doesn't work?

I created sharepoints for various folders (for instance, someone's home directory).

Then in WGM, for the person's home directory, I pointed it to that share point.

And on the space for the quota, I set an amount in there, but it doesn't work.

When I upload/put files in that directory, it doesn't stick.
