Has anyone used it and if so . . does it work well to stream HD quality shows over the network?

I have not used it, but I looked at it extensively before deciding to just run some cat5e.

The reality is that it just depends, it may, it may not have the throughput your looking for, this is mostly due to differences in elec systems, whether or not both outlets are on the same circuit etc.

HD is very taxing and bandwidth dependent so you will likely be better off even w/ 802.11g or n(when avail) or just simple pull some wire if you can.
