More reliable (and more compliant!!) beats somewhat faster all the time. MIMO is one facet of the new N standard-which won't be finalized until at least the middle of next year, maybe even not until '08- and every implementation is unique and thus proprietary. While you might get an extra couple meters of range, or a few extra kilobits per second with standards-complaint equipment, to get any real benefit, you need everything to be from the same vendor. That is NOT a good plan.
