I was wondering if a Linksys, or a Belkin usb wireless network adapter would work on my g4 cube.
On the box it says for windows, but the person at office depot said it should work. I'm not completely sure. Has anyone had any experience or knows.

Don't bother with USB wireless devices. Whomever told you it will work with Macs is feeding you BS. The Mac drivers are either for Classic or don't work.
Get an Ethernet-based unit like the LinkSys WET-11. No drivers needed.

Yes. It will work on any device with an Ethernet port. I've even used it with a PS2.

ALL NETWORKING RELATED QUESTIONS GO IN THE NETWORKING FORUM. This is important-so important that we have noted this specifically in the forum listing. Please pay attention to this in the future.
And as msuper69 says, most USB wireless devices are poo in one way or another. First there's the problem with having Mac drivers-most don't. And USB wireless devices tend to be really slow compared to internally installed or ethernet-connected devices. Go with a wireless bridge instead, and you'll be much happier.
I'm going to move this to the Networking forum so you can get more help with finding the RIGHT wireless solution for your computer.

I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong forum. I didn't see the networking forum for some reason.
But what would be the best brand for this wireless bridge and what are the running costs. Do you guys have a prefernce?

"Best brand" of any consumer networking equipment comes close to a religious question-people have some VERY strong opinions. And frankly, as long as you can configure it through your web browser, and it really supports the standards, it'll work fine.
I've seen this kind of device on the shelf for as little as $60US and as much as $200US. I'd go with what is cost effective and suits your tastes.
You can also find this kind of box called a "wireless gaming adapter" and advertised as being for PS2s and XBoxes. As long as the "gaming adapter" has an ethernet port, it's going to work.
