Does anybody know how to configure a IP phone for use with Comcast digital voice?
This is 99.9 times out of 100 not supported. The only way I've seen these types of features deployed is via cable modems with integrated analog telephone adapter. This enables the cable company as a service provider to manage a single device that is completely under their control. Another thing it provides is quality of service (QoS) for voice traffic.

However, Comcast doesn't agree with your prognosis. When I spoke with them they indicated that this is absolutely possible but they would not tell me how to configure the phone.
