Hello, not sure if i'm in the right area for this... here goes:

I have, an iMac 24, wiith a 17" external display and a 14" iBook G4. I use logic to to compose to film, i know that you can use a G4 in conjunction with a Mac Mini as a node.

Now, what i would like to do, is use the 24"display for my arrange page, the 17" for my mixer and then use the ibook to play the video.

Is this at all possible with a networking cable, so as i pressed play in logic, it would tell the quicktime movie to play on the iBook?

Not a clue if i could do this.

Regards

Brad.

I understad your problem and I have encountered it before. You need to buy a video exporter from your electronic retailer so you can plug in your networking ethernet cable with the video exporter and then an s-video cable or a different type will connect to the external screen.
