Stupid question:

if I have a 10/100 router and plug a gigabit ethernet switch to it and two giga computers (in the giga switch of course), what speed will transfers will occur betwen these?

Cause if it is not giga speeds, next stupid question:
why aren't there any wireless/gigabit router?

Any comps plugged into the giga switch will get gigabit speeds among those machines on the giga switch, communication between any device on the router and switch will be 10/100mb

Great, I guess that makes sense then.

Just to be curious, the router gives the IP adresses but then no data goes to the router when two comps are connected to the giga switch, thus allowing giga speeds between these two computers?

You are 100% correct. The switch is smart enough to connect the two computers directly when they are talking to each other. They will request their IPs from the router, connect to the outside through the router, etc., but if they want to talk to each other, it'll be strictly through the switch at gigaspeeds.
