Hello,

I'm new to the Mac world - I have been using PC for years and bought my first mac a couple of months ago -INCREDIBLE! I'll never own a pc again.

Anyway, I'm pretty good with networking and have gotten everything set up great except for one problem. If I log out of my powerbook, I can't access anything on it from my imac. When I log in, I have no problem sharing. I have the same problem vice versa. Is it possible to access the HD on another mac in the network without both of them being logged into at the same time? I even went the IP address route in GO > Connect to Server.... - didn't work either.

Sorry if this is a dumb question - still learning! I appreciate the help.
