And I also have a probleme with my wirless connection my powerbook cant connect to the local network I don't have accesse to my server admin tools from my powerbook but from my other wire connected computers no problems.

Details of your network please, both hardware and versions of firmware. In most cases this sort of thing is due to "too much" security-your firewall and/or router block the ports that these applications need to talk through.

My fiber optics goes to my Xserve G5 dual after being converted of course, on ethernet 0 on ethernet 1 I have a switcher on witch is connected my Quad G5, my old G4 and a wireless router 90211g for my laptop. I have os-x tiger on all the computer and on the server I have 10.3.9 . the IPs on my intranet are in the 192.168.0.??. Ichat, ftp, msn etc. works fine on my server but all other computers on the 192.168.0.?? network don't have access. if I want to use Remote desktop from my G5 to controle my serve I have to stop the server 's firewall the time it takes to connect then I restart it and once connected remote works fine. this is verry frustrating.

Thanks for your help!

You need to identify which ports those two applications want to use and open them in the server's firewall. That should be all, really. Do that and tell us how it goes.

I tried openning ports disabaling firawall etc. So I dicided to reinstall OS X server 10.3 with all the updates, start fresh!

I entered all my ips DNS etc. then connect my other computers on the other ethernet card using dhcp and my computers apear on my DHCP clients list. I can connect to my server using "go" server.local etc. but I havec no internet ? That is worst then before I reinstalled !

If I had nothing intalled only my ethernet comming from the fiberoptics converter box, and everything works fine my server gets on the net with no problems and I can iChat, MSN etc. Now I want to connect my G$ and Quad G5 via ethernet throught a gigabyte switcher and my powerbook 17 G4 via airport from a D-Link 90211g connected to the switcher. waht do I do !
