SO I have tried myself to what I can and take the liberty to look online for help and while I have been somewhat guided. i am at an impass currently. I have a canon multipass mp390 printer hooked up to my dell desktop which runs windows xp. I set up file sharing on the desktop to allow my macbook access to the printer. However, I am thinking that this printer does not have drivers for MAC OS X 10.4.x and am kinda in the dark. I did do an online search for some shareware drivers and i used what I believe is called gimp driver. I have found that I can now print wirelessly , however, it is only in black and white, but more importantly, the text is coming out REALLY, REALLY small and things seemed minimized. The built in canon drivers that came with MAC osX I do not think supported this printer as it would not accept any of them when using the printer set up utility. Anyone ever try this method and have any success? I am ALMOST there but am totally computer illiterate. Thanks!!
