Our netgear router has a really weak firewall so we decided to use an old powermac box with 2 ethernet ports and an os x server licence to make a new decent firewall.
I've ran the gateway setup assistant on the server installation, then connected one ethernet port to our network switch, and the other network port directly to an ethernet port on the router/modem.
But, no clients get internet connection
did i do something really stupid when setting it up? I'm fairly sure the firewall is setup correctly (besides, what would prevent users from accessing the internet anyway..)
we don't have time to stop for gas
