First I use Mac Computers. This is what I'm trying to do. I have 2 computers on a wireless network. I am using an Airport Express. The ISP is Comcast and I am using a modem supplied by them. I want to be able to connect to either computer to use Apple Remote Desktop or so I can share files from another location outside that network. My home. The IP address given for those computer are 192.168.0.x. I cannot seem to access these system with these address'. Can someone explain how I can do what I am trying to do. Please be clear and speak in laymen's because I am only vaguely familiar with networking.

your home airport express has assigned those IP numbers internal to your 2 computers. They aren't usable IP's to access your computers from outside your LAN. You need to find out what your real IP address is. You should be able to open the airport config util and see your external IP.

Ok, like I said I have 2 computers on that network. If I got that IP address and try to access one of them, which one will I access? How do I choose. How does it distiguish the 2 computers. In Apple Remote desktop I can only enter and single IP address. When connecting to a server for file sharing it's the same thing. How do I choose which computer. I can't put in the external IP address and then continue entering the internal IP address. ARD won't accept it nor will Connect to Server in the Finder Go option. What do I do?
