I know (Logitech?) makes a little keychain for about $35, but is there anything one can install on a PB or MBP or whatever that identifies all the unlocked signals in say, a restaurant, bar, cafe, sidewalk, whatever...without having to try every single one, only to get denied everytime?

That sure would save a lot of time!
