I have an iMac desktop and MacBook and am setting up an Airport Extreme network to link them. I have 3 users in the house (me, wife, and child #1) with another user (child #2) almost old enough to want her own account. It seems simple to have everyone have their same username/shortname for accounts on each machine but I seem to remember reading somewhere that this is not a good idea. I just did a forum search in networking and was not able to come up with anything relevant. So I was wondering if anyone knows whether the simple approach is problematic? Many thanks.

hab, I'm certainly no expert, but I can say that I have the same username on three different networked machines, and I've experienced no problems.
