Hi,

Can you guys recommend a fast, sturdy external HDD to hook up to my Airport Base Station?

Is Lacie still the HD to beat?

Take any of the enclosures on this page (depending on your price range and sense of style; all have at least USB2 on the outside and at least SATA on the inside) and add any of these SATA Seagate drives (depending on the price or capacity you're looking for).

Lacie is still, and has always been, crap in my opinion. I've never been impressed with any of their external drive products.

Agreed on the Lacie opinion. Controller failures abound and only a 1 year warranty. Industry standard these days is 3 or 5 years.
