I've got a Netgear wireless router connected to my ISP via the WLAN and cabled to my G4. I can access the internet no problem. I've for a DLink access point (DWL700AP) in my shop out back of the "main" router, in the house. I connect the AP to a router and then cable to my G3 in the shop.
I can't get it to see the internet. I can ping both the AP and the wireless router. The AP is setup with a static IP in the Netgear wireless router addy range. The AP is setup as a repeater with the same name and channel as the wireless router.
Any help why it won't get to the internet?
I've looked at most of the internet sites via Google and I think it should work.
I'm sure it's probably something simple, though I'm just making it hard!

Usually you can't do a WDS across different brands of networking equipment since everyone has implemented their own WDS protocols. Have you checked to make sure the DLink is actually capable of extending the wireless signal from the Netgear?
