When I used Live Messenger on Windows before i used to send loads of files to my contacts and every transfer completed with speed.
Now on my mac, no matter what application i use (aMSN, Adium, Mac Messenger) all transfer files really slowly. It takes up to five times longer and even sometimes doesnt even complete (coming up with an error saying that the recipient has cancelled the transfer- when they havent).
Very frustrating, just to double check its not my internet connected/router settings thats the cause, after transfering a file to a friend on my mac and giving up a few mins ago, i switched to using windows to transfer instead and it was zippy as hell.
Can anyone help??
