hi all. i have an imac g5 (isight) and for whatever reason i just happened to click on my airport icon in the status bar (upper right hand corner of the screen) and noticed something weird - underneath the name of my wireless network ('default') and where normally it says 'create network...' it said instead (grayed out) 'computer-to-computer network' and then the name of the network 'pspsomethingsomething'. what does that mean, and could the person on that network have taken anything from my computer?

It means that someone within the range of your AirPort card has wireless network. No big deal. A computer-to-computer (also known as "ad hoc") network is one that you set up (obviously) between two computers without a router between them. These are useful, but temporary by design. That item is grayed out because there's no other computer in range.
