So I recently started having problems with a certain website (www.ikitesurf.com). It will not load then I get the "Safari can’t find the server." message. I tried it on my wife's and son's computer with no luck. So I decided to connect to my works secure network through my wi-fi network via VPN client. Strangely the site works that way so that eliminates my browser being the issue. I contacted my service provider and they said they see no issue and they can connect through our network to the site. So I thought maybe our Airport Extreme and Express were set up incorrectly so I reset and reinstalled both stations with no luck. So now I have no idea what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have 10.4.9 installed not that that matters. Let me know your thoughts... Oh if I enter the DNS server address 65.57.243.16
The site loads VERY S-L-O-W-L-Y. It's almost like the server won't convert the www.ikitesurf.com to the 65.57.243.16 address (which isn't the correct DNS address for some reason it loads up their other site iwindsurf.com.

Maybe your ISP is having trouble resolving URLs to IPs... I had a similar problem sometime ago with my own site. For the record, I can access the site you describe just fine. And fast.

Y no entienden nada... ¡y cómo se divierten!...

It sounds like that site uses a redirect, and that your ISP's DNS didn't like the URL that the redirect wanted. I say it looks like a redirect because you say that the page loads and THEN you get a "cannot find server" message. Make sense?

Thanks everyone for you input. I'm in the process of communicating the issue to my ISP. In the meantime I'll be using OpenDNS.
