I've a wireless connection at home - Aztech modem
I'm having problems porforwarding both at the same time. Its like when one is "open" the other is stealth or just not working.

should the port number be different?
change the protocol (tcp or tcp/udp)

current options are pc under tcp - port 50002 to 50002
whereas for my mac, its tcp/udp - port 50001 to 50001

Its alternatively working.. how do i make them both work?

Are you using a router? Most routers when you set up port forwarding its done by ip address. If you are using a router check to see that the specific port forwarding addresses are set for the pc and mac ips.

In many cases, port forwarding will ONLY work for one LAN IP at a time. In fact, I haven't seen a home networking router (or combination modem/router) that will support more than one "special" IP at all.

That is correct, if you want both those ports to be forwarded through one ip it can be only done for that IP.

If you are using a router a port trigger is the only option that will open a specific port to the entire network itself.
