Hy, I just bought a Macbook 13", I'm quite a noob when it comes to mac... I'm experiencing some trouble with connecting to my linksys WRT300N. I tried to set another channel, I tried to delete my WEP code, I'm running out of ideas here... can anyone help me with my little macbook connection problem?

In what mode do you have the router running at? check to see if you are running B+G+N because you might be running in N mode only. C2D macbooks dont have wireless N right out of the box, you have to get the N enabler from apple which is a $2 application. Also I dont know what chipset the new N airport extreme cards are but my macbook and my wife's macbook pro wrecked havok with my linksys wrt54g. It is not the same model but they are both linksys routers. The router would kill the DNS when any of the macs connected to it and I would have to reset it every time. In the end I just bought a Netgear rangemax router and have had 0 problems ever since.
