D-Link DBT-320 Printing problems

I have a D-Link DBT-320 Print Server hooked up to my HP1012 LaserJet and when I try to print all I get is pages w/code on the top or blank pages. I am using OS 10.4.9. What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
