I want to set up my airport extreme base station as a remote station for another network, from which I only know the mac address (its an us robotics router). now, the airport utility assistant does not recognize this airport base station, which is I guess ok, as it is not an apple base station. however, when i configure my extreme base station and select the network from the main base station, even then it can not recognize the configuration.
"the airport admin utility was unable to read the configuration of the selected base station."

any ideas/experience with that? I simply want to use my extreme base station as a bridge for an existing network, to enlarge its network range.
