OK, I was having some problems with connecting to a DHCP server earlier this morning so I had to enter my IP Addy and my Netmask. It also asks for a 'Default Router' number. ANy help on this topic?

That IP should be the IP address of your router, which is usually the same IP address of your machine except with the last digit a 1.

If your router is not issuing you a DHCP address, I wouldn't go about solving your problem this way though...

Are you getting no IP address? A 169.x.x.x IP?

Welcome to the MacNN Forums! Did you mean "BEFSR41" instead of "...43?" Anyway, Linksys routers default to 192.168.1.1.

But the real issue is "we need more information." What's your setup? When you say "I was having some problems with connecting to a DHCP server..." what server were you trying to connect to-your router?
