Hey all.
I'm trying to pick a wireless router for our MacBook Pro and I'm looking for some recommendations.
Here's my criteria:
1. I don't think I need to pay the extra dough to get Apple's router.
2. I live in a three-story condo where multiple tennants have wireless routers.
3 My condo is one level but it's long.

Hope you can help.
Thanks!

I use WRT 54G, its about two years old but works like a charm (I think its fairly cheap as well). We use ours in a two story house, the router is located in the basement, and we get very good reception from the second floor.

Airport Express! It rocks, is small, has cool extra features like printing and music in case you want to use them in the future AND you get the benefit of using Airport Admin Utility for configuration, etc... It's just a nicer package all around.

And it's much more expensive than it needs to be. Plus the AirPort Admin Utility is not "the best" way to configure a router-everybody else in the business uses a browser-based configuration, which I think is a better idea.

I'd love for everyone to be able to afford an AirPort Express, particularly since it's been redesigned. But I can get three very nice wireless routers for the price of one AE.
