Ok I was fed up with being wired so this morning I went and bought the Linksys WRT54GS and set it up and it is working like a charm... Now, the only thing I need to know is how to password protect my wireless signal so my cheapskate neighbors dont use it.... I would use the disk that came with the router but its only windows compatible. I figure someone on this forum has had the same issue and I'm sure it has even been brought up. Thanks.

Even if I were setting up a Windows machine on that router I wouldn't use the software! Just open your web browser, go to the default IP address 192.168.1.1 and leave the user name field blank and the admin password iust admin. Enable WPA make the password ridiculously complicated. Make sure when you are done with that to change the router password too. WPA only prevents wireless hackers from getting in. You want to change that default admin password too!

Power-cycle the router. It sometimes needs that sort of thing when you first get it set up.
