I'm trying to establish a PPTP VPN connection to my work using Internet Connection. This works fine except in the case where the local subnet is the same as my work's subnet (192.168.0.xxx). Windows handles this edge case by providing an option to forward all traffic to the remote subnet. I've read elsewhere that OSX cannot handle this case at all but I'm hoping someone here knows a route trick that might solve this problem. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm using OSX 10.4.10.

Are you in a position to change the local subnet, such as on a home router?

No, one end is my work. The other end is a local coffeeshop.

1. Open Internet Connect.
2. Select the VPN connection in the shelf.
3. Go to Connect > Options...
4. Tick the box to "Send all traffic over VPN connection"

Hope this helps.
