Yep, I live in the sticks-no DSL or fast anything where I live, so I'm stuck with dial-up. I have a newer macbook (no modem) and a imac G5 (with modem) and would like to use them for internet. I could buy the $49.00 USB apple modem for the laptop, but have heard not so-good reviews on them. Ran across a Apple M8799LL/A AirPort Extreme Base Station with Modem and Antenna Port on amazon for $79.-$99.00 and wondered if that would be better???? Help? When dialing up using AirPort Extreme Base Station, does one computer control the connection, ie: connecting? I realize, at slow speeds, just one computer at a time could probably use it. Any thoughts on the best way to get my macbook online?
