so im upgrading my wireless router and my switch i have now to a gigabit as well as a N capable router. but the apple router is only 10/100 so im not to sure my best approach to get both of what i need.
any recommendations?

Yes, both will work with Verizon FiOS.
It's your money. I'd take the Netgear because a lot of the complaints aren't things that bother me (like rebooting for settings changes).

Just like the previous airport base stations, I doubt they'll update it until a new wifi standard is available.

anyone have speculation on apples update of the airport extreme to offer 1Gbps?
