So I got a belkin wireless-n router. My macbook and my roommate's macbook work have really intermittent connections and require constantly re-connecting. My boyfriend's Compaq works fine. Has anyone else had this problem or did I just buy a lemon?

Are both macbook's n-capable? Are they both running fully updated Mac OS and wifi patches?

I bought the Belkin wireless-n router the other day and ended up taking it back. I was having the same issues as you seem to be having. A really inconsistent connection. I seemed to have the same, if not better, speed and reliability from my old Belkin wireless-g router.

the new base station is good, i highly recommend it.
