What does this mean?
"Other computers on your local subnet can access your computer at sam-admins.local"

I have personal and file sharing off, with mac firewall and router. My admin username is "sam admin". is this a security risk?

What it means is that IF you had file sharing turned on, others on your local subnet (probably everyone on your LOCAL network with an IP address that matches the first three parts of yours) would be able to see your Users>Shared folder. The sharing name they would use for that folder would have been "sam-admins.local". With file sharing off, they get nothing. You prevented a security issue by turning file sharing off.

sam-admins.local is the Bonjour name that your computer is broadcasting.

If you are behind a properly cconfigured firewall and router, then no one outside your local network will see this.
